Founded in 1969, the Georgia Sheriffs Youth Home organization focuses on the well-being of Georgia youth by fostering abandoned, abused, and neglected youth on one of five campuses across the state. This organization gives our state’s most at-risk children the love, safety, and stability needed to become mature, successful adults. Georgia District Key Cub has set a fundraising goal of $15,000 to build these children a rehabilitation space: The Key Club Wellness Pavilion, which will be used for recreation, therapy, fishing, and family visits. Donations are vital to helping these children live a better, more fulfilling life.
November is Georgia Sheriff’s Youth Homes Awareness month. Now is the perfect time for your club to host a fundraiser to raise money for the Key Club Wellness Pavilion.
Your donation will provide you or your Club with varying levels of recognition at our annual Service & Leadership Conference depending upon the amount: Silver tier: $300, Gold tier: $500, Diamond tier: $1,000.
Make sure to take pictures and send them to our Bulletin Editor Olivia Shim to get more recognition on the district Instagram! If your club is able to exceed the $300 club fundraising goal, consider applying for the Georgia Sheriff’s Youth Home Fundraising Award to be recognized at our Service and Leadership Conference in March!
Donations of any amount can be made via check and mailed out to:
PO Box 6618 Macon, Georgia, 31208 and checks made payable to Georgia District of Key Club International!
