What’s My Hi-Five?

By Andrew McGraw, District Projects Chairman

Hey, Georgia Key Club!

The District Board and I are beyond thrilled to work with all of you this year in continuing our nearly 30-year partnership with the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes to provide love, shelter, and opportunity for the abused, neglected, and forgotten children of Georgia.

This year, the District Projects committee has unveiled a new fundraising and awareness campaign for the Foundation for Education project at the Mountainview Campus: My Hi-Five! Every Key Clubber in Georgia is challenged with raising at least $5 for the project. If everyone does their part, the $120,000 project will be paid off in its ENTIRETY by the end of the 2017-2018 Key Club year – an ENTIRE YEAR ahead of schedule!

The idea behind the project is simple: skip that extra coffee or foot long sub and put that money aside for Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes! By doing your part, YOU are changing lives! And most importantly, YOU are showing what it means to be a servant leader!

Even better, every club who meets this $5 per member goal will receive special recognition at District Convention!

Let us know how you saved your $5 by posting about it on social media using #MYHiFive, and collaborate with other Key Clubbers from across the state to see how they are doing their part!
