Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is Not So Far Away!
By Alia Bly, District Bulletin Editor and Public Relations Chair
The month of October presents the opportunity for not just service, but also SPOOKY service! Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is the number one way for Key Clubbers to get involved with UNICEF and its mission to eradicate maternal and neonatal tetanus. To participate, you must order boxes, plan a route for collection through your school or community, and make sure you’re prepared to send funds in. Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF asks members to gather candy on Halloween, or throughout October, while also carrying a T-or-T collection box while going from place to place! Instead of asking “Trick-or-Treat?”, ask “would you like to donate to UNICEF?” If the answer is yes, collect your donations in your T-or-T box!
It is not too late to order boxes! Visit www.unicefusa.org/form/trick-or-treat/box-order to place your order today, or learn how to make your own! Information regarding the submissions of donations collected is also found via the prior link. Please do your part in bringing UNICEF into the homes of your community members this Halloween!
