A Successful GSYH Social Media Week!

By Andrew McGraw, District Projects Chairman

Hello Georgia Key Clubbers!

I want to thank ALL of you for your participation in the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes social media takeover this week! I loved seeing your enthusiasm for the district project and hope many more of you have been inspired by the selfless acts of others within the district that benefit the abandoned, neglected, and forgotten youth of Georgia.

As a quick recap for those of you who may be unaware, over the past week the District Projects committee did a “takeover” on social media. Throughout the week, we shared new fundraising ideas, posted throwbacks from previous initiatives, hosted polls and events, and even recognized clubs’ individual fundraising efforts!

Club Advisors and Officers, don’t forget about the #myhifive campaign (information here)! Now is the critical moment to fire up any last minute fundraisers to make sure your club meets the $5 per member goal. All clubs who meet this goal will receive recognition at the District Convention, but funds must be submitted by January 19, 2018 to be credited to your club.

I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish by working together. Let’s finish out this year STRONG and be the group responsible for finishing the #Foundation4Education project a whole year ahead of schedule!

As always, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to email me (projects@gakeyclub.org), and I’ll be happy to help!

Happy Fundraising!

Yours in Service,

Andrew McGraw, District Projects Chairman
